York City re-sign striker Akinyemi

Dipo Akinyemi had scored three goals in 17 appearances for Derry City in the 2026 season [Getty Images]York City have re-signed Derry City striker Dipo Akinyemi.The 29-year-old scored 19 goals in 65 league appearances for the Minstermen between 2023 and 2025.He joined Derry last July and scored six goals in 24 League of Ireland appearances for the Candystripes.York have not disclosed the length of deal Akinyemi has signed nor if they have paid a fee for him.All done deals in June 2026Listen to Y
