Oldham defender Leake joins Colchester

Jake Leake started his career with Hull City [Getty Images]Colchester United have signed defender Jake Leake after he left League Two rivals Oldham Athletic.The 23-year-old made 28 appearances in all competitions for the Latics having initially signed on loan in January 2025 before making his move permanent in June the same year.The full-back scored two goals for Oldham and although they announced in May he was in discussions to extend his contract at Boundary Park he has elected to join Colches
