Notts County sign Charlton striker Kanu on loan

League One side Notts County have signed Charlton Athletic striker Daniel Kanu on a season-long loan.The 21-year-old was named League Two Young Player of the Season in April after scoring 15 goals in 40 league appearances while on loan with Walsall.Kanu, who scored 18 goals in all competitions for the Saddlers last term, joined Charlton's academy aged 11 and signed his first professional contract in 2022.He has 12 goals in 71 appearances for the Addicks and has also won six caps for Sierra Leone
