Newport sign Bamba from Forest Green Rovers

Newport County have signed forward Yahya Bamba from non-league Forest Green Rovers for the 2026-27 season.Bamba, 27, went on loan to Brackley Town in January and now makes a permanent switch to Rodney Parade. Brackley were relegated from the National League at the end of last season.The new recruit, who is able to operate across the front three, told the Exiles website: "I'm a very direct player.
