Midfielder Newton agrees new Gateshead contract

Gateshead midfielder Tyrelle Newton has signed a new one-year deal with the National League club.The 22-year-old has made 55 appearances for the club since joining in August 2024.The Luton Town academy graduate played 40 times for Gateshead in his first campaign, but injury restricted him to just 15 appearances last season.He joins midfielder Lucas Lowery and centre-back Ben Williams in agreeing new contracts with the club in recent days.
