AFC Wimbledon appoint Morrison as First Team coach

Morrison's playing career of over 600 EFL appearances ended with Cambridge United winning promotion into League One in 2025-2026 [Getty Images]AFC Wimbledon have appointed Michael Morrison as first-team coach.The 38-year-old former centre-half played played more than 750 games for seven clubs, including Charlton and Birmingham. He lifted the League One title with both Reading and Charlton and helped Cambridge to promotion from League Two last season before announcing his retirement from playing.
