That doesn’t mean I always like it.Last week, the Rays’ 10th Round pick, Texas Tech pitcher Trendan Parish, signed for $500. For his next 6 pro seasons, Mr. Parish will be under the team’s control, earning literal poverty wages (less than $16,000 per year) unless he manages to turn himself into a prospect and start jumping levels.
