Evacuation Orders Lowered for Mt. Hood Ski Resorts Near Grasshopper Fire

Evacuation orders have decreased or disappeared entirely for two Mt. Hood ski resorts positioned near the edge of Oregon’s Grasshopper Fire, which has, to date, burned over 90,000 acres.
Timberline Lodge announced this week that the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office had lifted the Level 1 Evacuation for the Mount Hood corridor, from Rhododendron east through Government Camp and surrounding areas of Mount Hood National Forest.
