Nick Kurtz Wins American League Rookie Of The Year, Earns Full Year Of Service Time

Athletics first baseman Nick Kurtz has been named the 2025 American League Rookie of the Year, the Baseball Writers Association of America announced. His teammate Jacob Wilson finished second and Roman Anthony of the Red Sox finished third in the voting. Kurtz will be retroactively awarded a full year of service time by finishing in the top two of the voting. The full voting results can be found here.
