Athletics Select Max Schuemann

The Athletics announced that outfielder Brent Rooker has been placed on the 10-day injured list due to a costochondral cartilage injury. Infielder/outfielder Max Schuemann was selected to take Rooker’s place on the active roster. A corresponding move will be required to open a spot for Schuemann on the 40-man, though that move has not yet been announced.
