Athletics Select Max Muncy

The Athletics announced today that they have selected the contract of infielder Max Muncy. It was previously reported that he would be breaking camp with the A’s. To open a 40-man roster spot, left-hander Ken Waldichuk was placed on the 60-day injured list. The southpaw is recovering from Tommy John surgery performed last May.
