Howard wins Hobey Baker, MSU's first since 2001

Michigan State junior forward Isaac Howard won the Hobey Baker Memorial Award on Friday as college hockey's top player, claiming the honor over finalists Zeev Buium of Denver and Boston College's Ryan Leonard, now with the Capitals.
