Sunday's Game 7 between the Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets averaged 6.63 million viewers on TNT.
It is the most-watched opening round series game on cable since 2009.
It is also the third largest audience in the playoffs thus far after the Lakers-Timberwolves Game 4 and the Magic-Celtics Game 1 on ABC.
The Nuggets' Game 7 win over the Clippers averaged 4.21 million viewers.
