Warriors' Draymond Green still finding new tricks, embraces challenge

SAN FRANCISCO ― Draymond Green is excited for the 2026-27 season for plenty of reasons. Green signed a one-year, $27.7 million deal to return to the Golden State Warriors; he's back paired with his right-hand Steph Curry and he's the vet who will teach rookie Yaxel Lendeborg the ropes. They immediately developed a friendly banter, having gone to rival schools: Lendeborg to Michigan, and Green to Michigan State.
