The 2026 NFL preseason is winding down, and so two is the period during which NFL teams are allowed to carry 90 players on their active rosters.The NFL's 53-man roster deadline will take place at 6 p.m. ET on Sunday, Aug. 30. That means a total of 1,184 NFL roster spots will evaporate overnight as part of the annual culling of the league's work force.Of course, many of the players cut will soon find jobs on practice squads. NFL teams are allowed to sign as many as 17 individuals to their practic
