Dear Editor,I read the recent opinion piece by Donna Brown about second-home owners, and I totally agree with her. We bought our house in 2004, and as I was a teacher, we spent the summer and my vacation in Vermont. During the pandemic, we were here for a year and a half. We spend as much time here as we can, sometimes up to six months at a time. Does that mean that our other house is also a second home? We pay our taxes but are on a fixed income, so increases are a concern. What about sho
