Hazardous waste-like substance found inside trench city waterlines pass through

A greasy, paint-like substance that has the physical characteristics of hazardous waste has been found in the same Envirosafe Services of Ohio Inc. trench that the city of Toledo uses for its largest raw water main that was installed in 1940 and another one that was installed in 1967, city Department of Public Utilities officials revealed during a news conference Friday.
