Effort to plant 250M trees across Great Lakes region by 2033 began with 27M in 2024

The massive campaign to plant 250 million trees across the Great Lakes region by 2033 is off and running, with an estimated 27 million planted during the first full year of the initiative, the conference of Great Lakes St. Lawrence Governors & Premiers announced Monday.
