San Pedro man arrested for setting trash bins in Costa Mesa on fire

On Thursday, April 25, around 1:45 a.m, the Costa Mesa Police Department (CMPD) and Costa Mesa Fire & Rescue (CMFR) responded to multiple calls from the 3200 block of Iowa Street, the 3100 block of Country Club Drive, and the 3200 block of Minnesota Avenue regarding an unknown suspect driving in the neighborhood and sequentially setting trash bins on fire, according to the CMPD.After the fires were extinguished, CMFR determined the fires were arson.Around 6:50 a.m., police officers were also
