Balcony failure prompts evaluation at North Hills apartment complex, city says permits are needed

WRAL received several anonymous complaints from tenants living at the Lassiter at North Hills, claiming a fourth-floor balcony had collapsed sometime in early August. A spokesperson for the city of Raleigh confirmed the city was made aware of the balcony failure this week.
