Corrections board greenlights Lawton prison contract extension

The Oklahoma Board of Corrections on Wednesday approved a one-year contract extension for the state to continue incarcerating male prisoners at Lawton Correctional and Rehabilitation Facility, Oklahoma’s only private prison, which is owned and operated by The GEO Group.
