Youth activism and local filmmaking take center stage in Bronx this weekend

JupiBx, a youth-led organization fighting for Puerto Rican independence, will host a Mayday town hall on Saturday, May 3, 1 p.m. at the Mill Brook Community Center at 201 St. Ann’s Avenue. People of all ages are invited to enjoy food and share experiences relating to workers’ and tenants’ rights, housing displacement and other community issues.
