HVCC's Jameson Balich named Division III junior college All-American

Hudson Valley Community College first baseman Jameson Balich was named Thursday as a NJCAA Division III first-team All-American.
Balich, a freshman from Chatham, led the Vikings with a .492 batting average, 46 RBIs, a .616 on-base percentage and .831 slugging percentage. He tied Tyree Jackson for the team lead with seven home runs.
