Wildfire Risk Locally Today

Despite the rain that fell in some areas Monday, the National Weather Service is advising that there’s an increased risk of wildfires today in this part of central Mississippi.  Low humidity and occasional breezes will be partly to blame.  Dry weather is forecast for the next few days but it’s shaping up as a wet weekend with the rain expected to begin on Friday and continue Saturday and Sunday.   Two to four inches of rain could fall before it ends.
