Hit-and-Run Tuesday Afternoon in Attala

Around 3 PM on Tuesday in Attala, authorities were notified of a pickup that was side swiped by an 18-wheeler on Hwy 19 S. moving towards Kosciusko.
After receiving a general profile of the vehicle at fault, deputies stopped a semi to inspect it for damages. They discovered damage on the truck, but it was not determined to originate from the hit-and-run.
There were no injuries reported, but the pickup needed to be towed.
