Heat Advisory Issued for Holmes County

It’s been a common occurrence this summer– Holmes County getting hotter than the rest of the local area.  Locations near and west of I-55 have been the focus of most of our heat stress episodes.  And the one that’s underway as we reach the end of August is no exception.  The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for a portion of western Mississippi including Holmes County until 8 pm this evening.&nbs
