Average Gas Price in MS Now at $4

For the second time this year, gas is averaging $4 a gallon across Mississippi.   AAA says the statewide average price reached that mark this morning, up a penny since Thursday.  While the auto club’s average hasn’t been this high since May, gas prices in many areas have been well above $4 for some time now.
In this part of central Mississippi, countywide averages range from $3.95 in Leake to $3.97 in Holmes and Montgomery, $4.05 in Neshoba and Winston, $4.07 in Chocta
