U.N. report highlights Indigenous knowledge in ocean governance

The world’s oceans are facing mounting pressure from climate change, pollution and unsustainable human activity, according to the United Nations’ Third World Ocean Assessment,a sweeping scientific report that also calls for greater recognition of Indigenous knowledge in ocean governance.
