Remote control software, often used to provide remote technical support, has been hailed as one of the greatest inventions since sliced bread. Support technicians, whether in-house, a software vendor or even tech-savvy friends or relatives need not be physically in front of the computer to figure out what’s going on. Unfortunately, someone had to ruin it for everyone, and remote control software is often used as a point of entry for hackers.
