Prepare to bundle up for chilly, wet weather

It’s too late for a white Christmas but the National Weather Service is forecasting the possibility of6 inches or more of snow for the summits of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa and potentially heavy rainfall for much of the rest of the state from a “Kona low” weather system.
