Kokua Line: Did post office change postmark rules?

Question: Auwe. People need to know that the post office has changed the way it does things and even if you drop outgoing mail in the slot inside the post office before it closes it might not be postmarked that day. Better to stand in line and get it hand-canceled if the postmark date is important. I wish I had known.
