Hiroshima students fold origami cranes at Pearl Harbor, share message of peace
Seven students from Hiroshima, Japan, folded origami paper cranes with their Hawaii counterparts and others Saturday morning at the Pearl Harbor National Memorial in memory of Sadako Sasaki, a young girl who survived the 1945 atomic bombing of Hiroshima but was stricken with leukemia from radiation and died 10 years later at age 12.
