Appeals court backs Hawaii’s gun permit window, inspection mandate

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit upheld Hawaii’s requirements that gun owners have 30 days to use a permit to acquire a handgun and some new guns have to be broughtinto police stations forinspection.
