Florida secures $1.5 billion in FEMA reimbursements for hurricane recovery projects

As the 2026 hurricane season gets underway, U.S. Sen. Ashley Moody, R-Tampa, is noting local governments in Florida have been reimbursed $1.5 billion from the Federal Emergency Management Agency for hurricanes and other disasters from the past several years.
