Storms knock out power to more than 30,000 I&M customers in Michigan

Video shows tornado damage in Mayville, WisconsinFORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) Powerful storms rolled through the Midwest late Thursday and early Friday, spawning tornadoes in Wisconsin and Minnesota. While northeast Indiana was spared, the same can't be said for parts of Michigan.Indiana Michigan Power (I&M) reports that more than 35,000 customers lost power as a result of those storms in southwest Michigan. The storms snapped power poles, downed power lines, and took down trees.
