Public Safety Alert issued for 81-year-old woman

ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) -- County police are searching for an 81-year-old woman last seen just outside northeast Fort Wayne Tuesday afternoon.A Public Safety Alert was issued for Helen McCarthy, who was described by the Allen County Sheriff's Department as white woman who was last seen wearing a white shirt, grey overcoat, red flannel and pajama pants.According to the alert, she was last seen driving a teal 2019 Toyota Sequoia with license plate GCU182 around 5:30 p.m. in the area of Wheelock
