Parnell Avenue bridge to close until mid-September

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - A bridge on Fort Wayne's north side is being shut down later this month, and drivers will have to take a detour until the fall.The Parnell Avenue Bridge is scheduled to be closed from May 12 to September 18, according to an announcement Friday from Fort Wayne Public Works. The bridge goes over the St. Joseph River, near the intersection of Parnell and St. Joe River Drive.The detour goes from East State Boulevard to Crescent Avenue, North Anthony Boulevard, and Coliseum
