New sound technology coming to Allen County courtrooms

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — A new sound technology is heading to all 16 courtrooms at Allen Superior Court after funding was approved by the County Council in a 5-0 vote.The total cost of the project will be around $1.5 million.Although this has been a vision for years now, the funding started in October 2024, when Allen Superior Court proposed the first phase of funding to County Council at $427,000.
