New Innovation Center coming to LaGrange County, adds child care

LAGRANGE, Ind. (WANE)— Major Moves funds will help bring a new Innovation Center to LaGrange.The LaGrange County EDC President and CEO, Sherri Johnston, said the county received funding when the toll road was sold for economic development. A portion of the $2.2 million of the $4.6 million for the project is from Major Moves.Johnston said the county will be asking the State of Indiana for some READI funds and plans to present that to the state in May.
