'Milk is in my blood': 2025 Indy 500 milk women hail from northeast Indiana

KENDALLVILLE, Ind. (WANE) -- Two women will represent northeast Indiana during the 109th running of the Indianapolis 500 in late May as the race's milk presenters.Abbie Herr, a dairy farmer from Kendallville, and Ashley Stockwell, a Hudson native, will be the two presenters as part of the American Dairy Association of Indiana's Rookie + Veteran Farmer Program, which started in the mid 2000s and continues a tradition that dates back to 1936.
