Major road construction project to begin on U.S. 24 in Allen County next week

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) Motorists who travel a stretch of U.S. 24 in southwest Allen County will have to deal with a construction project starting next week.The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announced Thursday that starting Monday, May 12, work will begin on a stretch of the highway from Homestead Road to CR S 800 East. The work is expected to last until the end of October.
