INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WANE) -- Indiana Governor Mike Braun signed into law Tuesday a bill that requires hospitals to lower prices or lose their non-profit status.
House Bill 1004 requires Indiana’s non-profit hospital systems to submit audited financial statements and work to lower inpatient and outpatient prices to the statewide average.
