Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control programs aim to avoid shelter overcrowding

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) -- Thanks to the expansion of a local program and the return of a national one, Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control (FWACC) is working to put itself in a good spot as the warmer months approach.On Thursday, BISSELL Pet Foundation's Empty the Shelters adoption event returned to Fort Wayne, offering a variety of discounts on adoption fees. FWACC partners with the event a few times each year in order to provide people with an easier path to adopting a pet.Delaney Atkinson, a
