Crash on Parnell Avenue forces detour near St. Joseph River

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - The Fort Wayne Police Department is responding to a crash Friday afternoon on the city's north side.Emergency crews are at the scene of a crash near the intersection of Parnell Avenue and Spy Run Avenue Exit.
The crash happened around 2:30 p.m. It's unclear how many people were involved. The extent of any injuries has not been confirmed.The intersection is temporarily shut down; drivers on southbound Parnell are being guided to take a detour.
