Adams Central Community Schools board accepts Superintendent Joel Mahaffey's resignation

ADAMS COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) — Adams Central Community Schools Superintendent Joel Mahaffey has resigned from his position and on Friday morning the district school board unanimously accepted his resignation.
Mahaffey's departure comes following his arrest for drunk driving earlier this year, and a previous vote by the school board to retain him following the arrest.
