1 dead following shooting in Downtown Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - One man is dead following a shooting in Downtown Fort Wayne.It happened at the intersection of Wayne St. and Monroe St. around 5:41 a.m.
According to the Fort Wayne Police Department, officers responded to the area and found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.It's unclear what exactly happened that led to the shooting. WANE 15 is working to learn more and will provide all updates as they become available.
