Person dead after car crashes into pole in Bristol

A person is dead after they crashed into a pole on Broad Street in Bristol Wednesday night. Fire officials said a vehicle struck a pole around 9 p.m. The driver was extricated, and was taken to the hospital where they died of their injuries, officials said. The person’s identity is unknown. The crash is under investigation.
