Mario Lopez filming movie in WNY

AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB) -- Actor Mario Lopez is in town filming a new holiday movie -- and it’s just the latest production to be filmed in Western New York.Crews have been rolling for the past three weeks with several local areas serving as backdrops, including the Great Point Studio at Niagara Street and West Ferry Street. On Thursday, Lopez was filming outdoor scenes in Amherst near North Forest Road.The film’s name has yet to be made public, but it is a Great American Media productio
