Man transported to ECMC after being shot near Delaware Park

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- Buffalo police say a man was taken to the hospital after being shot in a residential area less than a mile away from Delaware Park on Wednesday night.Officers responded to the scene at 111 Greenfield Street. A 49-year-old man was shot once in the leg just after 11:50 p.m. Wednesday, officials said.
An ambulance transported the man to ECMC after officers applied a tourniquet to his leg at the scene.
