Buffalo Porchfest returns this weekend

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- More than 200 bands will be performing in the Elmwood Village this weekend as part of this year's Buffalo Porchfest.The free event, which began in 2013, is set to take place from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday outside various houses and establishments in the Elmwood Village."It’s kind of the unofficial start of summer here in Western New York," said James Cichocki, executive director of the Elmwood Village Association.
